Bohemian Stockholm And More
April 16 - 18
Södermalm is one of the islands that is part of the inner city of Stockholm. It is considered more bohemian and relaxed than the rest of the town with lots of cafés, many restaurants and small shops.
This was originally the workers area and was quite poor, considered as the "slum" of Stockholm. This has definitely changed, even though many of the buildings and small cottages from that time still exist. This is where you find the highest number of single-family homes and the average age for people living here is low.
We will enjoy the quaint streets, nice squares, great cafés and small restaurants. Guided tours and visits will mostly take place in Södermalm, but we will also enjoy a ride on the subway, with a focus on all its art.
