Dear members of IATM CER!
 
Live is coming back! We spoke to some colleagues and received confirmation that they are back to work. The ships go up and down the Rhine and Danube rivers again, with fewer guests, but everyone who wants to has something to do.
 
The bus group business is slowly, but steadily growing. I am currently observing that many retirees and school children are out and about. The foreign groups are still missing.
 
At the end of the month, we will have another international BOD online meeting. Are there any points that you would like to have discussed? Otherwise, I will report to you at our annual CER meeting at the end of November.
 
Our regional CER meeting will finally take place "live" in Feldkirch (Vorarlberg) on ​​November 20th at 10 am in the Hotel "Weißes Kreuz". We will do it online at the same time. The Zoom platform has proven itself. Some members still want to refrain from traveling. You can find the invitation with the registration form attached. Arrival is on Friday, November 19th. with dinner together in the hotel. After the meeting we go for lunch and then we take a guided stroll through town.
 
For this year 2021, the CER board decided at the end of 2020 not to collect any membership fees. We are thinking of repeating this again for 2022 due to the continuing difficult economic situation in the travel industry. We didn't have an increased cost, so this is possible. However, we, the board of directors, ask you to confirm your membership. Many things in life have changed: Please tell us whether you are still "active", "passive", or want to leave. We are happy to keep every single member!
 
This year there are elections again! If you are neither in Feldkirch nor online, please send your proxy in writing (with a copy to me) by November 17, 2021!
 
The international AGM in Graz will take place from 02/01/2022 to 02/04/2022 as follows:
 
Monday, February 1st, 2021, in the evening “Meet and Greet” with a welcome drink and dinner afterwards.
Tuesday, 02.02.2021 morning the meeting with subsequent training. E.g., a lecture about the green heart of Austria and the development of tourism. Individual lunch (in the hotel). A city tour in the afternoon.
On Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021, a day trip: we will visit the highlights of the region - all the important tourist destinations and here and there a gem - something special! In the evening there is a farewell gala dinner for everyone.
On Thursday, February 4th, 2021, in the morning, the group splits up: Some members will leave. The other participants will travel to Slovenia for the Study Tour. More information at our meeting in Feldkirch.
 
The AGM 2022 is also carried out online with Zoom. Every member is invited to take part in the conference in Graz. The necessary simple instructions will be sent out in good time with the invitation.
